This breath is designed to relieve you of oncoming feelings of panic and distress and diminish feelings of hyperventiliation. Panic button uses breath holding in order to balance carbon dioxide and oxygen levels.
All breathing moves lightly through the nose.

Brief breath holds on the exhale can quiet the nervous system and dilate arteries to restore you to a calm state of control. This technique reduces the likelihood of hyperventilation during times of panic.
